The most pleasant sweet aroma of kinmokusei Osmanthus fragrans attacked me today in intensive waves as I was riding in Uji. The smell was everywhere and I was looking to see the first blossoms. This is the smell of the beginning of the autumn in Japan. And I found bushes already blooming. They are pale orange and very tiny but smell like heaven! And for the very first time I saw a pale pink one! Really rare!!!
And here some better pictures from previous years. Just to say – There is a perfume with a very similar scent – Flora by Gucci. I have bought it twice, as I like it so much!
